Okay, so yes, I AM working on Chapter 3, I swear. It's just being tricky. But I do have a tasty tidbit for those who have been waiting so nicely and patiently. ^w^

SPOILERIFIC INFORMATION ABOUT CHAPTER 3:

1. This is primarily one of Liyal's chapters, so we'll see a lot of him.

2. A couple of new characters will be introduced.

3. The chapter title is going to be "Reflections".

So I need to get back into the regularity with posting journals and such. I already knew that, and yet I still procrastinate. What a great dA person I am. -__-

Anyway...

Things have been going pretty good. Right now, I'm reworking Chapters 3 and 4 of Idyll's End, because the pacing really needs to be reexamined. I might just redo them completely seeing as how the first few chapters move awfully fast, and I think I need to wait a bit before things start to happen.

Also, a bit of warning. "Idyll's End" is not a very nice story. I mean, there's romance and love and friendship and humor (got a nice bit of that in Chapter 1), but there's also a fair bit of death and ugliness and violence in there as well. Anyone who was expecting a cute and fluffy story doesn't really know that I've grown as a writer past doing stuff like that. Fluff in large quantities doesn't really interest me anymore. An actual plot does. (Drabbles do NOT count, Art. XD)

I'd also like to unveil something that's been official in my head for the past week or two (I honestly can't remember XD ). When this IE concept is finished (whether it be one book or two) I'm going to release the "Imperial Records", which are a set of appendices full of stuff that happened during the story or after, or customs and traditions of Draza, whatever was important in my mind to the overall story but couldn't be put in there. Things like naming children, weddings, funerals, the life of Lia's mother, the political career of Liyal, the lives of the three Empresses after Lia, what happened to Lia and Ike, all of that will be in the Records. This will be released after the story, though, because if I did it before, there would be some major spoilerific information in there.

I've also contemplated splitting IE into two. It's growing in length by the day, and I can't keep up. I'll keep everyone posted on that. To that end, I'd also like to say that if I feel like it, I'll write a series of short stories/a small book or prequel of stuff that happened before IE. It's a small possibility, definitely not set in stone yet. We'll see what happens.

Yaaaaaaay....more writing. I'm trying, I really am. ^^ Thank you everyone for being so patient.

1. Which of the games of the series have you played?

I've played 7, 9, and I WANT to play 10 so badly you have no idea. Yes, I finally got around to playing Path of Radiance! 'Bout freaking time, too. If you write a fanfiction on a video game, at least know something about it, and the best way for me to do that is to play the darn thing. Just exactly how I got to play PoR is a mystery...and an epic tale. I'll tell you all later. XD

Which is you favorite and why?

Radiant Dawn FTW, yo! Ike, Soren, Shinon, Boyd, and all them at their AWESOMEST. The graphics got spiffed up, and the game play is AMAZING. I have the premium edition of the game guide, too, and the art in there is veeeeeeeeeery nice to look at. :3

2. Out of that one, who's your favorite character?

This is hard...because I love Shinon for his wiseass behavior, Soren for being dry as a stick and rude as all get out, and Ike for being...Ike, but I think I'll take Ike, because he was the one that roped me into all this. XD

3. Do you have a favorite character from a different game that isn't your favorite?

Marth, Roy, and Eliwood. I luvs them. And Hector, who bears a startling resemblance to Ike.

4. What is your favorite pairing? Why?

I loves me some Leasala (Leanne/Naesala, who I've affectionately dubbed Nae-Nae ). This pairing IS canon in RD if you get the two of them to a A support thing. And when you do that, Naesala marries Leanne, and they have a little boy raven (man, another Naesala. Tibarn's gonna be maaaaaaad. XD) and a little girl heron. What I don't get is that Reyson and Rafiel (particularly Reyson, who idolizes Tibarn who hates Naesala) didn't protest. Or if they did, they did it quietly.

5. Any favorite crack pairings?

Oh yes. XD Art and I know about these. Soryana and Ranethe. Soren/Ilyana is more crack-based, but I love it anyway. Ranulf/Lethe is one I wish happened. It would have been adorable. Can't you just see the little kittens running around? *squees*

Yes, I had to skip the ones that required drawing. I know this.

Titania invites Shinon and Olimar for dinner at her house? Well, this one's easy. Shinon would politely (Wut? XD) ask Titania if he could maul Olimar and then they could have HIM for dinner, and she would just say 'go ahead'. End of story. Moving on. XD

2. 9 tries to get 5 to go to a strip club.

Liyal, what have you been DOING with your life? What is going on in that brain of yours? Taking SOREN to a strip club? He won't go unless Ike goes, because Soren is obsessed with that man to the 100th degree. XD

3. You need to stay at a friend's house for the night. Do you choose 1 or 6?

Seeing as they both sleep in tents, I don't think it matters who I pick. XD

4. 1 and 7 are making out, and 10 walks in…their reaction?

Rhys would…he would die. And Ike/Mist? EW. Ike would NEVER. EVER. DO. THAT. Yuck. Not even if he was so sloshed he could barely stand up.

5. 3 falls in love with 6. 8 is jealous. What happens?

Shinon falls in love with Boyd, and Olimar is jealous? Bad Shinon….Mist is gonna come and murder you for stealing her Boy-Boy.
As for Olimar, no one cares what he thinks. XP

6. 4 jumps you in a dark alleyway. Who comes to your rescue? 10, 2, or 7?

Titania jumps me in a dark alley, and the only ones who can rescue me are Rhys, Lia, and Mist? Jeez….
Rhys would try to calm Titania down, and Lia would get Ike to rescue me. But have you ever tried to stop a tank? Yeah. If none of that worked, I'd be dead.

7. 1 decides to start up a cooking show.15 minutes later, what's happening?

Funnily enough, I think it'd be going smoothly. Ike struck me as a decent cook from the getgo, and I think he'd do just fine. XD

8. 5 is in a car crash and is critically injured. What does 9 do?

Soren is in a car crash? Liyal would go fetch Rhys so Rhys can use his heal staff. XD

9. 3 has to marry either 8, 4, or 9. Who do they choose?

Shinon has to either marry Olimar, Titania, or Liyal. Shinon is Liyal's sister's mentor. No. He wouldn't go for him. He'd turn Olimar into a pincushion before he'd marry HIM, so that leaves Titania. We'll see how that works.

10. 7 kidnaps 2 and demands something from 5 for 2's release. What is it?

Mist kidnaps Lia and demands something from Soren. Maybe so Soren can persuade Ike (who's currently in corner crying that his sister nabbed his girlie) to let Mist get together with Boyd. XD

11. You get to meet either 1 or 6. Who do you choose?

Sorry Boyd. Ike wins.

12. 10 challenges 4 to a chariot race. Why?

Rhys v. Titania? I have no idea.

Shinon might, because Ike would opt out. The second it comes to blows, though, and Ike gets involved, Shinon would be toast.

Lia and Rhys. You know, if Lia weren't already smitten with someone else, that might work. But no. And Olimar? Olimar would be plotting Rhys' horrible demise because he wants Lia all to himself.

Because she could sic her brother on him. XD

I'd kick both their butts out the door. Last thing I need is a drunk prince and a wasted paladin.

19. Everyone gets together and starts protesting something outside your house. What are they protesting? What do you do?

They're probably protesting my loving torturing of them, along with the fact that they don't get sick days, or vacation time, or benefits. I would turn up my music louder. They'll go away eventually. XD

20. 9 murders 2's best friend. What does 2 do to get back at them?

Liyal murders Lia's best friend? In what AU did THIS happen? O_o I don't even want to THINK about it, it's so OOC. >_<

21. 6 and 1 are in mortal danger. Only one of them can survive. Does 6 save themselves or 1?

Boyd would sacrifice himself for Ike. You know he would.

22. Which one of them is most likely to fail at life?

Olimar FAILS.

Titania, Boyd, and Mist are doing the Hokey-Pokey. Not too improbable. Olimar walks in? Titania carves him up like a Thanksgiving turkey, and goes back to doing the Hokey-Pokey. XD

She'd think he was drunk, because that's a weird pairing.

Olimar and Shinon forgot to bring food? Well, Shinon would shoot him first, then go hunting. XD Simple.

I don't even need to say how crazy that sounds.

More than likely, it's to take care of a certain ship's bebes. Grandpa Shinon. Man, would that make him feel OLD.

Just when I thought I'd come up with the most crack-induced (not really, but you get the idea) ideas, I come up with more. I think this has something to do with the Cookies and Cream Poptarts I had for breakfast. Waaaaaaay too much sugar.

So there's this idea that I'd love to do, and it's this:
